Led the content plan for the inaugural Vancouver Canucks Black History Month theme night, collaborating with our in-house videographers/editors, graphic designers, social media team, community relations department, and athletes to deliver compelling storytelling that promoted diversity and inclusion and amplified Black voices in hockey. Our flagship content included a video feature on a local Black development coach dedicated to changing the game and a tribute to Vancouver’s Black alumni narrated by Canucks forward Justin Bailey.

Pitched and project managed #FrontlineHeroes initiative during the COVID-19 pandemic, joining Vancouver’s 7 p.m. salute by highlighting a frontline worker across Whitecaps FC social media channels for 85 consecutive days.
Yup, we rented a tank. Planned and project managed a robust content plan for Whitecaps FC’s signing of Lucas Cavallini (aka “El Tanque”), totalling more than 1.5 million impressions. Our content included multiple videos – including a cinematic launch involving a physical tank, all access of the weekend, and surprise Season Ticket Member visit – graphical pieces, and my feature article breaking down Cavallini’s attributes.
Worked with 10 Whitecaps FC players to produce, edit, and/or co-write a series of highly personal, first-person essays, totalling more than 35,000 pageviews and 1 million impressions.
Played a lead role in planning and producing the content for Alphonso Davies’ final match in MLS, highlighted by video messages from 20+ high profile athletes and celebrities including NHL superstar Connor McDavid, a goodbye video essay from Alphonso, my feature article, and much more. In addition to our club content, which totalled more than 1.5 million video views and 2.5 million impressions, our #FarewellPhonzie hashtag was used by media and fans around the world.
Established creative direction and project managed video series sponsored by Whitecaps FC Founding Partner BMO, sourcing and working with a group of videographers across the country to spotlight a collection of unique stories from the nationwide Whitecaps FC BMO Academy.
Played a lead role in the ideation and project management – and wrote press release – for a brand-new video series sponsored by Whitecaps FC Premier Founding Partner Bell, documenting every step of the unprecedented 2020 season through a combination of mini-documentary style features and raw social clips.
