Just days after Sidney Crosby scored the “golden goal” at the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver, pundits – and wannabe pundits alike – started sharing their predictions for Team Canada’s 2014 Olympic roster.

Every so often, we’d hear another one . . . and then another one.

Predictions, as they say, are for gypsies. Predicting Team Canada’s Olympic hockey roster (and doing it that early)? I’m not even sure a gypsy could do that.

Carleton Ravens add two more recruits

As I reported in April, the Carleton Ravens men’s hockey team is set to announce that Brampton Battalion assistant captain Brad Albert has committed to join the team this season. I’ve also learned that Halifax Mooseheads forward Linden Bahm will follow suit.

Hockey and TBI (Traumatic Brain Injuries)

First off, I just want to apologize to my billions and billions of readers out there for not updating this blog more frequently. Throughout the academic year, I was preoccupied with school and the Charlatan, whereas I’ve been busy with my internship at Vancouver Whitecaps FC as of late. I’ll definitely try to update more often this summer.

Anyways, I was contacted by Chelsea Travers a little while ago.

Chelsea Travers is an outreach representative for CareMeridian, a subacute care facility located throughout the Western United States for patients suffering from traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury or medical complexities, such as neuromuscular or congenital anomalies. She forwarded me the following article about hockey and TBI and I thought it was worth posting.
