Farhan has twice interned with the Vancouver Whitecaps FC communications department. He was a media relations intern in the summer of 2012 and a club correspondent intern in the summer of 2010.
On both occasions, he wrote press releases, player bios, match stories and feature articles for both the match-day program and website. He also live-tweeted multiple home games on the official Whitecaps FC Twitter account.
In total, Farhan wrote close to 100 articles for the Whitecaps. Here’s a small sample:
