Farhan Devji, 23, is an author, journalist, and communications professional born and raised in Nanaimo, B.C.

Currently, Farhan is studying journalism at Carleton University in Ottawa. He’s set to graduate in April 2013.

Over the last few years, Farhan has interviewed a number of professional and junior athletes, including Chris Bosh, Claude Giroux, Daniel Alfredsson, Ryan Kesler, John Tavares, and many others.

His articles have appeared in the Edmonton Journal, the Vancouver Sun, the Calgary Herald, the Ottawa Citizen, and the Montreal Gazette.

During his time at Carleton, Farhan has been a regular contributor with the Charlatan. He has previously served as the sports editor and editor-in-chief.

He’s also interned with the Vancouver Whitecaps media relations department on two separate occasions.

Although he’s quick to point out that his journalism endeavors started with his high school newspaper The Echo, Farhan’s career highlights include covering the 2012 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship for the Edmonton Journal, the Vancouver Canucks visit to Ottawa in February 2009, and the Toronto Raptors training camp in October 2009.
