With the 2009 NHL Entry Draft rapidly approaching, a lot of you have requested that I put together another “mock draft.” This is something I’ve done in the past, and last year I correctly projected the first 14 selections. You can check it out here.
I just wanted to let everyone know that I do indeed intend to release a “mock draft” again this year. As for a time frame, all I can say is that it will be published on Inside Hockey sometime in the upcoming weeks. I have officially started working on it, and will continue to do so extensively.
I will make my predictions based on my conversations with NHL scouts, player agents of the draft eligible players, the draft eligible players themselves, journalists, and my own opinion.
